Commissioned by Sterling Mets LP and completed in 2009, this project showcased our ability to design and fabricate iconic and functional signage for large-scale venues. Highlights included entrance signs, directional signage guiding visitors to nearby landmarks such as the Queens Museum, Theater, World’s Fair Arena, and the National Tennis Center, and an exit sign featuring the Mets mascot with the message, “See you next time. ” We also created a welcoming sign for fans entering Citi Field, detailed wayfinding signs for the rotunda, ticket areas, and base locations. The centerpiece of this project was the striking Citi Field exterior sign, a landmark visible from highways and even the skies.
